Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities:

Responsibilities:

  • Operate street sweeping equipment to clean streets, parking lots, and other public areas
  • Follow a set route and schedule to ensure that all areas are cleaned in a timely and efficient manner
  • Perform routine maintenance on the equipment, including checking fluid levels, changing filters, and replacing worn parts
  • Report any issues with the equipment to the supervisor
  • Ensure that all safety procedures are followed while operating the equipment
  • Keep accurate records of work performed and submit reports to the supervisor
  • All other duties as assigned

 

Job Summary:

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Experience operating street sweeping equipment preferred
  • Ability to work independently and follow a set route and schedule
  • Good communication skills and ability to work well with others
  • Ability to perform routine maintenance on equipment
  • Physical ability to operate equipment and lift to 50 pounds
